Happy New Year friends!
We hope that 2024 is kicking off for y'all with lots of fun projects and great energy as it is for our team.
January at rapidely has been a busy month where we've continued on the December streak of nailing down the "invisible" work on stability and speed, worked on improving some exising features with our power users, took a few days offsite with the whole team to brainstorm and dream up the future of our app, and yes... adding the much demanded Stories feature 🎉.
This past month has also been a little rough on the technical side 😥 with Meta and Linkedin updating their API's and generating quite a lot of posting errors and disconnections of accounts for our users. Tiktok also changed the way videos were uploading and we had a week or two where any video with a special character in the name would fail until it got fixed. Our social posting technical team also had a server failure and stayed up all night fixing it at the beginning of the month. Reels on both Instagram and Facebook have been generating a high level of errors and carrousel posts on Instagram failed for a few days over the last week and this week-end, and this week, our platform decided to run and upgrade that caused a whole load of issues and errors. Here's hoping that the Internet Gods are with us for this coming month and it's a more smooth sailing 🤞

New Corporate landing pages
We get it, the Instagram feed may not be the talk of the town like it used to be, but let's be honest - a cohesive and eye-catching grid still has its charm. That's exactly why we're bringing you the new Instagram Feed Preview. It's a no-frills, super practical tool that helps you keep your grid looking sharp with minimal effort. Because even if the feed takes a back seat, when it shines, it should shine your way.
Things to know:
View all posted until today, then all planned until end of calendar month
Posts in the pipeline but not yet scheduled appear in grayscale, making it easy for you to separate the drafts from the definites.
Use the 'Pin' feature to shuffle your grid right within Rapidely. It's a great way to plan the aesthetics, but please note that pinning in Rapidely is just for show – it won't pin on Instagram itself. For that, you'll need to open Instagram.

We know many of you have been waiting for this one for a while and we're so happy to announce that it's finally here!
Features / things to know:
Batch Preparation : Put together your stories in bulk by adding up to 10 images and videos to create the complete narrative.
Calendar Visibility: The first image of your story batch will be visible in the scheduling calendar for easy planning.
Sequential Posting: Each story will be posted in sequence, one after the previous one has been published, ensuring a smooth narrative flow.
No Interactive Stickers: Currently, Meta doesn't allow the addition of interactive stickers from third-party apps - you can only post images or videos.
Image Requirements: Your image files need to be in png or jpg format and maintain a 9:16 ratio to fit the story dimensions perfectly.
Video Specifications: Videos must also adhere to the 9:16 ratio, which is the standard for Instagram and Facebook stories.

We've updated the scheduling experience moving it from the bottom of the screen which wasn't ideal for those working on smaller screens to a sliding side bar allowing you to see the scheduling options and errors better.
We've also added the errors that need to be fixed to this view to allow you to see what needs to be fixed before posting. Click on any error to see the details in the error checker drop down.

Calendar speed: started working on the new calendar (upcoming) and made some changes to improve the loading speed.
Home page account view: The home page is now linked to the account selected on that page and not to last viewed account anymore, allowing you to open two tabs with two different accounts side by side
Posts open in their own tab: Posts now open in a separate tab which is a feature that was requested by many to be able to work on posts in different tabs side by side and save links to posts to share with the team.
Tagging bug fix: Instagram image & reel tagging bug fix : in some conditions, the tagging was generating a system error.
Desktop / mobile split: We've split the Desktop and Mobile versions to prepare for a new upcoming mobile design
Error 137: We've finally found the cause of error 137 (duplicate content) that many of you have been experiencing over the past month. For publications that took longer than 60 seconds to publish, our platform was making the call again. We've set up a workaround to identify the first attempt and ignore the second, which should solve the problem.
