Sometimes, despite the fact that your accounts "look like they're properly connected", there are missing authorizations that cause errors when posting or retrieving statistics.

How to fix permissions errors

If you receive an error message or an e-mail from us informing you of a permissions problem, you need to go back to your Facebook / Instagram permissions and make sure that all options are property enabled.

Step 1 > Try to disconnect / reconnect the social media once

  • Open Settings > Social media Accounts > manage connections again

  • Disconnect the account again, then reconnect

If this doesn't solve the error, try the following steps.


Step 2 > Check/update account permissions on Facebook

If you're managing multiple accounts, make sure you're property connected to the Facebook profile that has permissions to manage the page that has permissions concerns.

  1. In the list of connected tools, find Ayrshare and click on View and Edit.

  2. Activate ALL PERMISSIONS on all pages and features. If you don't, you'll always get permission errors. If the popup shows you pages/accounts, make sure they're all selected and that all functions are enabled. If the popup just shows features, make sure they're all enabled.

  3. Click on Save

  1. Logout of your facebook account before going back to rapidely

  2. Close the linking page and > open statistics page

  3. The system should update the history (updating the date of the last update)

If the settings are fixed, the permissions error message should disappear from the top of the screen.

If you're still getting Facebook/Instagram permission errors

Wait 5 minutes and refresh the rapidely home page It can take a few minutes for systems to synch

  1. Remove the Ayrshare app

If you still get an error message despite:

  1. your instagram account is connected to a Facebook page

  2. that all the accounts selected

  3. all the permissions enabled

  4. unlinking and relinking Ayrshare in the Facebook admin page

Log in to Facebook making sure you're that has full management rights on the page. To know which authorized profiles are allowed, check . If you don't have full control of the page, modify or obtain the rights before continuing.

Go to the Permissions panel for your Facebook Business account (). If you can't see the connected tools, it's probably that you are not active with a.

Return to rapidely and the account

Go back into the Facebook admin setting under Business Integration ()

Go back into the Social settings in rapidely and the social media accounts (step 5 above).
