Restricted Instagram account

If you get a "Your business account is inactive, controlled or restricted by Instagram" error message, it could be due to one of two things:

  1. Your account has violated community guidelines or Instagram's terms of use and has been blocked or restricted. To find out if your account is restricted for activity reasons, read the Instagram article on how to check your account:

  2. The connection between your Instagram account and your Facebook page has expired and you need to reconnect the Facebook page and the Instagram account. for how to proceed.
