Image & video format guidelines
Image and video media upload types, size limits and other info for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn & TikTok.
Each social media site has its own specific image and video requirements. We've put in place as many warnings and aids as possible, but to avoid frustration and wasting unnecessary time, here are the rules you need to know.
If you're not familiar with preparing images and videos for off-platform networks, we recommend preparing designs with Adobe Express using their templates, which will always have the right size and extension.

Instagram
You can upload any size you want, but if itβs not one of the following sizes, it will be cropped by Instagram at time of posting.
Here are the recommended sizes to avoid problems:
Square 1:1 : 1080 x 1080 pixels
Portrait 4:5: 1080 x 1350 pixels
Vertical 9:16: 1080 x 1920 pixels
Landscape 5:4 : 1350 x 1080 pixels
Twitter
Twitter will show images differently depending on whether there are one, two, three or four images. Here are the sizes to consider when preparing your post:
One image: 1200 x 675 px.
Two images: 700 x 800 px chaque image.
Three images:
Left image: 700 x 800 px.
Two images on the right: 1200 x 686 px.
Four images: 1200 x 600 px chaque image.
You can prepare all your images in 1200x675 format, but be aware that they will be cropped if you share more than one image.
Video & Reels format
For all platforms, you can only upload one video. If you want to mix images and videos, you'll have to prepare the post directly on the platform.
