You cannot connect a personal or private Instagram account.
If you're trying to connect a private account, it won't be permitted by Meta. Convert it to a Business or Creator account via your Instagram account settings.
Instagram requires you to have your account linked to a Facebook page so as to post schedules from an external service like Rapidely. If you don't have a Facebook page yet, you'll need to create one first.
In the list of connected tools, find Ayrshare and click on View and Edit.
ENABLE EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT, PAGE AND GIVE ALL PERMISSIONS - EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE THEM WITH RAPIDELY OTHERWISE YOU'LL KEEP GETTING ERRORS.
Click on Save
Logout of your facebook account before going back to rapidely
Open Home > Settings > Social media accounts
then click on Manage Connections
Click on Instagram -> Continue with Setup
on the pop-up window that appears.
Do not click continue. Click on Edit Settings
to access Facebook permissions.
Ensure ALL the Instagram accounts you want to connect are correctly selected.
Verify that ALL Facebook pages linked to your Instagram accounts are also accurately selected.
Turn ALL authorizations to YES
ENABLE EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT, PAGE AND GIVE ALL PERMISSIONS - EVEN IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO USE THEM WITH RAPIDELY OTHERWISE YOU'LL KEEP GETTING ERRORS.
Then choose your Instagram account again and if there are no other issues, you should get a success message.
If you're still getting an error message, we might need to reset the connection between rapidely and Meta.
Log into Facebook (NOT Business Facebook this time)
Remove the Ayrshare app
If you still get an error message despite:
your instagram account is connected to a Facebook page
that all the accounts selected
all the permissions enabled
unlinking and relinking Ayrshare in the Facebook admin page
