An Instagram collaboration post, often referred to as a collab post, is a feature that allows two users to co-author content, enabling the post to appear on both users' profiles simultaneously. This distinctive feature benefits both parties by enhancing their visibility and reach within their combined audiences.
In contrast, tagging or mentioning users in a post or comment simply notifies them and their followers might not see the content unless they visit the original poster's profile. Tags and mentions are more about acknowledging or drawing attention to someone within a post, without offering the shared ownership and mutual visibility provided by a collaboration post.
Create a new post as you normally would.
Add Instagram Handles in the "Invite instagram collaborators" section
Click on the "invite collaborators" option.
Enter the Instagram handle you wish to collaborate with
Press "Add" to include them as post collaborators
Schedule or Post: You can choose to either schedule your post for later or publish it immediately.
Collaborator Invitation: Once your post is published, your invited collaborators will receive an invitation to join the post in their Instagram app. They can choose to either accept or decline this invitation.
Viewing Collaboration Status To see whether your collaborators have accepted the invitation, open the post in your calendar.
The post details will show the current status of each collaborator's participation.
You can invite upto 3 collaborators on a post
If the collaborator responds with a declined collaboration request, do not re-invite them until you contact them to understand the reason for the decline.
Repeated declines from the same or multiple users will put your Instagram and Rapidely account at risk of cancelation.
