Deleting a post from social media

To delete a post that has already been posted on social media, you can either open your post and delete it in the platform or you can delete certain posts on your social accounts directly from rapidely.

Calendar update delay

There can be an hour delay between the time you delete your post and the moment it is reflected in our calendar.

Social post deleting rules

These are the platforms that allow deleting from third party serviced.

How to delete a post from social media

  1. Click on the post in the calendar to open the post details

  2. In the post details popup click on the Delete button

  3. Validate your choice once you have read the information about the action.

Some posts can't be deleted

Posts that were not published through rapide.ly cannot be deleted from our platform. For those posts, you will have to open the post on the platform and delete them from there. This change will be reflected the next time our system syncs with the platform (which can take up to an hour).

Some deleted posts might still appear in the calendar for a while

As our system synchronises with social media platforms only every 30 minutes and keeps a history of the latest posts, you might still see posts that you deleted in our calendar until the next synchronisation. Some platforms like Linkedin only reflect changes sometimes up to a day.

If the posts still appear after two days, and we'll look into it.
